Second Graders: Getting Ready for LAS

Hello September Third Graders – Three things:

  1. Orientation post-poned again. We’ll let you know the new date as soon as they set it.
  2. You can sign up for LAS PTA volunteer positions (make sure you are on the LAS site when signing up….it looks a lot like the WAS site, expect some changes over the summer)
  3. Why not get a jump start on your summer reading and support our school at the same time? Join us for an evening of fun while you browse Livingston Avenue’s own summer reading selections. The reading list will be available at the event. Even if you aren’t headed to LAS next year, please come enjoy.

Enjoy a performance by our school orchestra! Meet the Cranford Cougar! Mystery readers and more…

Hot Tips for Class Moms

Here’s a free service that’s so cool we just have to share: Its signupgenius.com. It can really help keep things organized, particularly when you send a group e-mail requesting donations for a class party, etc. All the recipients are centralized and can see the responses from others.  It minimizes a ton of back ‘n forth e-mails. And, once you set it up and enter all your a-mail addresses, it’s all ready to go for the next time. Just a tip! Enjoy.
