We have many, many fun activities planned for the children, many of which revolve around our “outdoor classroom” – the gardens.
Please, please, please consider spending any amount of time helping us maintain this important part of our Walnut curriculum. We are in desperate need of weeding and planting. Pull a couple of weeds while you’re waiting to pick up – take your little one after drop off and plant a flower! You can come whenever you’d like – during school, evenings or weekends. The garden is enjoyed by every child and family at Walnut. Please do your part.

Life Scout Nicholas Frediani is seeking assistance in the fundraising phase of his Eagle Scout project. His goal is to renovate Cranford High School’s Band Room. A Cranford High School student has recently created a new website: yescranford (YES = Youth Employment Services). It enables local youth to find work, and adults to find youth willing to work. There are currently over 10 posts by teens willing and ready to babysit, tutor, or help out with various odd jobs. If you are interested in hiring a Cranford teenager for any kind of help, please consider looking on this site. Show your school pride all around town with our super cute paw print magnets. Each magnet is only $5. The money raised will go to supporting WAS PTA programs for our children. Hurry and get yours while supplies last!!
Magnets are $5 each. Just put your name, teacher’s name and the number of magnets you’d like in an envelope. Make checks payable to WAS PTA and submit to the PTA mailbox in the main office.
